Phytochemistry & Biodiscovery

My research interests focus on secondary metabolites of ethnomedicinally used plants (Europe, Mongolia and Latin America), the isolation and structure elucidation of bioactive compounds in the context of diabetes, inflammation or wound healing,  as well as the throrough quality control of medicinal plants (macroscopic and microscopic identification, analytics).
