ECTS acceptance from congresses or extramural lab visits (with relevance to your thesis topic), rough guidelines

  • 2 ECTS: attendance of an (inter)national scientific meeting (duration: five full days)
    Required documents for acceptance: congress flyer and certificate of attendance
  • 4 ECTS: first author presentation of own data at an (inter)national scientific meeting in form of a poster or a talk
    Required documents for acceptance: congress flyer, certificate of attendance and abstract
  • 2 ECTS /week stay in an extramural lab (promoting the progress of your thesis project)
    Required documents for acceptance: description of performed activities / experiments and confirmation letters host and supervisor

  • Curriculum of the Doctoral Programme in the Natural Sciences of fields of Doctoral Research

      Doctoral candidates with nutritional sciences and pharmacy as their field of doctoral research have to complete achievements comprising 20 ECTS credits.

      PhD candidates are required to complete the following: Courses (both with continuous assessment or without continuous assessment) comprising 18 to 30 ECTS credit. Additional achievements (e.g. participate in workshops, present research findings at international conferences, act as subject-specific organisers for scientific events, placements, etc.).
