Affiliation Policy: declaring the institutional affiliation in publications, for projects and on social media
Adopted by the Rectorate on 8 February 2022 | Last update on 14 December 2022
An appropriate assignment of publications by members of the University of Vienna (students and staff) is only possible if correct affiliation data are provided. In addition, it is a requirement of good academic practice that authors fully and correctly name the institutions in which they have performed their research.
The affiliation policy of the University of Vienna regulates principles for the correct communication of affiliation data for publications, projects and in social media and defines the scope of application.
