Head and Steering Committee

The SC-Steering Committee consists of three (vice-)heads, three faculty members (PIs) and six student representatives, representing the three main doc school research areas Pha-Nu-Spo. The faculty members and student representatives are nominated and elected for a two-year term, with the possibility of re-election.

The SC discusses and plans the use of the budget, the strategic direction of the doc school, upcoming events, meetings, reports/evaluations, and is responsible for compliance and conflict resolution. The heads are the main representatives of the doctoral school within the Faculty, the University of Vienna and externally, and are responsible for making and implementing final decisions. They ensure the continuity and development of PhaNuSpo and supervise all matters related to the organisation and ongoing activities of the doctoral school.

The executive manager coordinates and prepares all meeting documents and convenes regular meetings.
