Project submission
All scientists and young researchers who are interested in being represented in the main building during the Long Night of Research to submit their projects by 31.01.2024 via the following link: https://univie.eventsair.com/lange-nacht-der-forschung-2024/lnf2024

Selection process for the presentations in the main building
At the beginning of February, a jury will select the projects for the Long Night of Research from the applications received and assign a station (5m²) in the main building of the University of Vienna. The applicants will be informed of the result immediately afterwards. A total of 40 stations from different research areas of the University of Vienna will be presented.

Presentations & equipment
Participants are free to design their contributions. They can bring posters, possibly show small experiments or illustrative objects from their everyday research - or simply tell the audience about their research. There are no limits to creativity!

We would be delighted if you and your team will participate and share your knowledge and research with the curious audience. The Long Night of Research takes place every two years all over Austria and last time we welcomed up to 600 guests at the VBC, making it a great success.

The concepts and materials developed for this evening, as well as the experience gained during the dialogue, will be of lasting value for future outreach activities.
