Report
I recently attended a four-day academic DPhG conference in Freiburg, Germany. The event brought together researchers, scholars, and professionals from various pharmaceutical disciplines to exchange new ideas and discuss recent developments in the field. I seized a valuable opportunity to broaden my academic perspective and connect with experts working on similar topics.
During the conference, I presented a poster based on my recent research. My presentation on partially epoxylated lipidoids with tertiary and secondary amines for mRNA transfection attracted considerable attention from participants. I received constructive feedback and insightful suggestions from several researchers, which will be very helpful in improving my ongoing and future studies. The poster session allowed me to practise summarising complex findings in a concise and visually engaging format.
In addition to my presentation, I attended several keynote lectures and parallel sessions that covered cutting-edge topics. The discussions on nucleic acid therapy were particularly impressive, inspiring new ideas for my research. I used the networking events during the conference to meet other young researchers, exchange experiences, and explore potential collaborations.
Participating in this conference was rewarding. It enhanced my communication skills, expanded my professional network, and deepened my understanding of current research trends. I know that the knowledge and connections gained from this event will contribute to my future academic and professional development.
