The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Congress 2023 is one of the leading events for liver researchers and specialists, offering an extensive programme of lectures by world-renowned experts. It has been a whirlwind of excitement, learning, and exchanging with around 6800 international participants, and staying abreast of the latest findings in this field. I also had the opportunity to present my latest findings at an international congress and received valuable feedback.
In general, attending the EASL Congress 2023 helped me to broaden my perspective on my PhD project, which is why I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. Ina Bergheim for her support and guidance, and to the Vienna Doctoral School of Pharmaceutical, Nutritional and Sport Science for the mobility grant that allowed me to attend this congress.
