Report
I recently had the opportunity to spend a week in Amsterdam attending the "Model-Based Neuroscience and Cognition Summer School" organised by the University of Amsterdam. This one-week programme was an intense and rewarding dive into the latest computational modelling techniques, with a particular focus on Bayesian methods for understanding cognition and neurophysiology.
Throughout the week, we explored sequential sampling models, which are crucial in decision-making research. The hands-on sessions and expert-led discussions provided practical insights that are directly applicable to my own research.
This opportunity was invaluable for advancing my doctoral research, and I am grateful to my doctoral school for funding this enriching experience. The knowledge and skills I have gained will undoubtedly contribute to my ongoing work in computational neuroscience.
