Our group is interested in the role of nutritional factors in the prevention of common diet-related diseases and their sequelae. For example, we carry out studies on dietary constituents and diet quality in relation to cancer prognosis. We further have a special focus on plant-based diets, also in the context of planetary health. Another research area is obesity against the background of the global nutrition transition.
