Thesis title: "Metabolomic profile analysis after diet and exercise interventions in older adults and its role in dietary intake assessment "

Thesis outline: The focus of this doctoral project is to investigate the rapidly growing field of metabolomics. Our objective is to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the metabolome with a specific focus on aging as well as potential changes in the metabolomic profile of an elderly population after diet and/or exercise interventions. Furthermore, we aim to investigate which metabolites are associated with dietary intake.
