Note for University of Vienna staff (PhD students & PIs): The retreat days will not be deducted from your annual leave. Do not forget to fill in the form PA/F7 Leave of Absence (LOA) in time before the retreat. Details will follow.

16-17 September 2024

  • We are pleased to invite our PhaNuSpo members to our Annual Retreat in Frankenfels, Lower Austria. We have reserved rooms for up to 100 people at the Naturhotel Steinschaler Dörfl in Frankenfels, in the so called Dirndl Tal of Lower Austria.
  • We are planning an exciting programme and look forward to meeting you.
  • Registration: Places will in principle be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline is on 30 April.

Basics

  • Date: Monday 16 September 2024 (morning departure, tentatively around 8:30am) to Tuesday 17 September 2024 (afternoon or early evening), organised bus transfers from and to 1090 Vienna (UZAII).
  • Where: Naturhotel Steinschaler Dörfl in Frankenfels, in the so-called "Dirndl Tal" of Lower Austria.
  • Who: All interested PhaNuSpo PhD & PI members (= signed Code of Good Practice for Doctoral Schools), and members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
  • Programme details will be announced soon.
    An active contribution is expected as well as active participation throughout the retreat.
  • Costs: Free for PhaNuSpo members and SAB. Costs for transfers, accommodation, meals, coffee breaks and group activities are covered by PhaNuSpo).
  • Childcare during the retreat.
  • ECTS credits: Active participation 1 ECTS, additional ECTS depending on the programme.
  • Prizes: Depending on the programme.
