Thesis title: "Development of Data Imputation Approaches in Pharmacoinformatics"
Thesis outline:
Tarik is a PhD student in the Pharmacoinformatics Research Group, holding a master’s degree in drug discovery and development from the University of Vienna. His research focuses on developing data imputation approaches to tackle the challenges of missing information in life science databases. He explores machine learning techniques, including proteochemometrics, multi-task learning, and transfer learning, to enable shared knowledge representation across different endpoints. Additionally, Tarik has a strong interest in in silico toxicity prediction within small-molecule drug discovery.
