Thesis title: "Examination of the preventive/therapeutic potential of natural products in atherosclerotic and proliferative vascular wall changes using cell-based models"

Thesis outline: The consumption of polyphenol rich foods is associated with vascular protection and lower cardiovascular risk. I am using in vitro models to investigate the role of gut microbial polyphenol metabolites in the protective effects against cardiovascular diseases associated with the consumption of polyphenol rich foods.
