Thesis title: "The molecular mechanism of  long non-coding RNA NORAD  in cellular stress response pathways"

Thesis outline: NORAD is found upregulated upon DNA damage and hypoxia and accumulated in stress
granules in mammalian cells exposed to different types of stress. However, the precise role of
NORAD in the cellular stress response is currently unknown. My PhD project aims to
characterize the cellular function of NORAD in response to various stress types and to identify
the underlying molecular mechanisms.
