Research
Our research group is located at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences and holds a strong collaboration to the Centre for Sport Science and University Sports. We are especially interested in clinical (gait) biomechanics and in interdisciplinary approaches between therapy and technology. Our research is dedicated to the musculoskeletal loading of the lower extremities during locomotion and exercising, and to assistive technologies such as machine learning and virtual reality, which can support patients and therapist during rehabilitation. Primary goal of our work is to contribute with scientific knowledge and prototype developments to the fields of clinical gait analysis and therapy.
