Research

Our research group focusses on the role of protein nutrition in chronic diseases, body composition and physical performance. In addition, we investigate the role of carbohydrates and the glycemic index on blood sugar regulation and fuel selection as well as the role of antioxidants on oxidative stress, inflammation and recovery. Moreover, we design and evaluate eHealth concepts for improvement of chronic diseases by diet and physical exercise.
