Research
The working group of Training Science at the Centre for Sport Science and University Sports aims to examine and optimise physical activity and training interventions as means to enhance physical performance, prevent or treat injuries and disease as well as to improve psychosocial health. Particular attention is given to questions related to the healthy ageing of the musculoskeletal system, the rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries and the development of innovative imaging-based examination modalities applied to the locomotor system.
